The Statesville Greyhounds basketball team (Statesville, NC), was overwhelmed 78-20 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Lake Norman Wildcats (Mooresville, NC)

The Wildcats now possess a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bessemer City for a non-league battle on Friday, December 9. Lake Norman will battle a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 70-26 non-league win over Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 5-0.

The Greyhounds (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against Mooresville (Mooresville, NC). The Blue Devils come into the non-league battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Mooresville trounced Weddington (Matthews, NC), 41-32, in a non-league battle.
