Virginia High School Basketball - Manor crushes Lakeland
December 8, 2022: Suffolk, VA 23434 Manor Mustangs (Portsmouth, VA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Lakeland Cavaliers (Suffolk, VA), 62-38 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Manor upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Mustangs host Norview (Norfolk, VA) to clash with the Pilots in a Eastern bout on Friday, December 9. The Pilots go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Norview won 75-12 in their recent league bout against Maury (Norfolk, VA)
Next up, the Cavaliers clash with the York Falcons (Yorktown, VA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 12. Lakeland will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 64-59 league loss to New Kent (New Kent, VA).
