The Legacy Academy (Collinsville, IL) varsity basketball team lost Thursday's home non-conference game against Liberty Christian Academy (Wright City, MO) by a score of 39-26.
The Liberty Christian Academy Eagles basketball team scored 39 points and held the host Legacy Academy Fire to 26 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Eagles now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mid-Missouri HomeSchool for a non-league contest on Monday, December 12. Liberty Christian Academy will battle a Mavericks team coming off a 44-39 non-league win over Varsity Opponent (, ). The Mavericks record now stands at 2-5.
The Fire (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Christian Educational Consortium (Louisville, KY). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Christian Educational Consortium ran past Academy for Individual Excellence (Jeffersontown, KY), 47-29, in a non-league contest.
