Minnesota High School Basketball - Maple Grove nips Shakopee
December 8, 2022: Maple Grove, MN 55369 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Maple Grove Crimson (Maple Grove, MN) and the visiting Shakopee Sabers (Shakopee, MN), saw Maple Grove's basketball squad hold off Shakopee by a count of 51-44.
With the victory, Maple Grove upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Crimson travel to Park Center (Brooklyn Park, MN) to play the Pirates in a AAAA Section 5 challenge on Friday, December 9. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Park Center won 62-46 in their recent league challenge against Osseo (Osseo, MN)
Next up, the Sabers play the Waconia Wildcats (Waconia, MN) in a AAAA Section 2 challenge, on Friday, December 9. Shakopee will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 64-46 non-league loss to Minnetonka (Minnetonka, MN).
