Somerville Yeguas (Somerville, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting North Zulch Bulldogs (North Zulch, TX), 45-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Somerville upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Yeguas travel to Bremond (Bremond, TX) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 4-3.
