Nevada High School Basketball - Palo Verde nudges Silverado

December 8, 2022: Las Vegas, NV 89144

Palo Verde Panthers (Las Vegas, NV) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Silverado Skyhawks (Las Vegas, NV), 37-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Palo Verde upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Panthers host Bishop Manogue (Reno, NV) to clash with the Miners in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Miners go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Bishop Manogue lost 56-45 in their recent non-league bout against Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, NV)

Next up, the Skyhawks clash with the Moapa Valley Pirates (Overton, NV) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Silverado will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 6-1 record after their 48-4 non-league win over Pinecrest Academy Cadence (Henderson, NV).
