The Palo Alto Vikings basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Milpitas Trojans to 30 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Vikings now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cupertino for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Palo Alto will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 37-30 non-league win over Washington (Fremont, CA). The Pioneers record now stands at 3-0.
