California High School Basketball - North Tahoe knocked off by Portola
December 8, 2022: Portola, CA 96122 The Portola Tigers basketball team scored 35 points and held the visiting North Tahoe Lakers to 18 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Tigers now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Quincy for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Portola will battle a Trojans team coming off a 36-27 non-league win over North Tahoe (Tahoe City, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 5-1.
The Lakers (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Quincy (Quincy, CA). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Quincy ran past Biggs (Biggs, CA), 35-34, in a non-league contest.
