New York High School Basketball - Liberty overwhelmed by Cornwall Central
December 8, 2022: Liberty, NY 12754 The Cornwall Central Dragons basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the host Liberty Indians to 41 in the Dragons non-league victory on Thursday.
The Dragons now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Warwick for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 15. Cornwall Central will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 50-25 non-league win over Port Jervis (Port Jervis, NY). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-1.
The Indians (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Goshen Central (Goshen, NY). The Gladiators come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Goshen Central triumphed over Onteora (Boiceville, NY), 69-51, in a non-league contest.
