The Hollister Haybalers basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Evergreen Valley Cougars to 48 in the Haybalers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Haybalers now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aptos for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Hollister will meet a Mariners team coming off a 73-39 non-league win over Live Oak (Morgan Hill, CA). The Mariners record now stands at 6-1.
