California High School Basketball - Yreka nips Ferndale
December 8, 2022: Yreka, CA 96097 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Yreka Miners (Yreka, CA) and the visiting Ferndale Wildcats (Ferndale, CA), saw Yreka's basketball squad hold off Ferndale by a tally of 43-41.
With the victory, Yreka improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Miners travel to Del Norte (Crescent City, CA) to play the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 10. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 7-1. Del Norte won 62-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Etna (Etna, CA)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Tulelake Honkers (Tulelake, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 9. Ferndale will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Honkers come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 46-38 non-league loss to Modoc (Alturas, CA).
