Virginia High School Basketball - Riverbend nips Gar-Field
December 8, 2022: Woodbridge, VA 22192 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Riverbend Bears (Fredericksburg, VA) and the host Gar-Field Red Wolves (Woodbridge, VA), saw Riverbend's basketball squad hold off Gar-Field by a count of 45-43.
With the victory, Riverbend upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Bears travel to North Stafford (Stafford, VA) to play the Wolverines in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 13. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 1-0.
Next up, the Red Wolves play the Charles J. Colgan Sharks (Manassas, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Gar-Field will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
