Arizona High School Basketball - Mesquite can't hold off Gilbert
December 8, 2022: Gilbert, AZ 85233 The Gilbert Tigers basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Mesquite Wildcats to 45 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Tigers now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westwood for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Gilbert will battle a Warriors team coming off a 64-57 non-league loss to Seton Catholic (Chandler, AZ). The Warriors record now stands at 0-1.
The Wildcats (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Saguaro (Scottsdale, AZ). The Sabercats enter the contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Saguaro nudged American Leadership Academy - Gilbert North (Gilbert, AZ), 63-40, in a non-league contest.
