Virginia High School Basketball - Goochland fells Maggie Walker
December 8, 2022: Goochland, VA 23063 Goochland Bulldogs (Goochland, VA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Maggie Walker (Richmond, VA), 39-23 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Goochland upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Bulldogs host Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA) to clash with the Black Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Black Knights go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Charlottesville lost 50-35 in their recent non-league bout against Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA)
Next up, the clash with the Colonial Heights Colonials (Colonial Heights, VA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 12. Maggie Walker will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Colonials go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 76-47 non-league loss to Dinwiddie (Dinwiddie, VA).
