Michigan High School Basketball - Algonac knocked off by Annapolis
December 8, 2023: Algonac, MI 48001 The Annapolis Cougars basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Algonac Muskrats to 51 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cougars now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Melvindale for a Western Wayne contest on Tuesday, December 12. Annapolis will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 62-50 non-league loss to Jefferson (Monroe, MI). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-2.
The Muskrats (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against North Branch (North Branch, MI). The Broncos enter the Blue Water Area contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, North Branch ran past Vassar (Vassar, MI), 44-22, in a non-league contest.
