Texas High School Basketball - Sabine Pass topped by Alvord
December 8, 2023: Alvord, TX 76225 The Alvord Bulldogs basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Sabine Pass Sharks to 37 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Friday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bob Hope for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. Alvord will battle a Eagles team coming off a 53-51 non-league win over Waelder (Waelder, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 9-4.
The Sharks (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against High Island (High Island, TX). The Cardinals come into the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, High Island prevailed over Deweyville (Deweyville, TX), 38-35, in a non-league contest.
