The Ambridge Bridgers (Ambridge, PA) basketball knocked off the host Ellwood City Wolverine (Ellwood City, PA), 95-82 in Friday's non-league test.

The Bridgers (1-3) will now prepare for their test against South Side (Hookstown, PA). The Rams go into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, South Side went down by Brentwood (Pittsburgh, PA), 59-50, in a non-league test.

The Wolverine now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Shenango for a non-league test on Sunday, December 10. Ellwood City will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 66-59 non-league win over Union Area (New Castle, PA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-2.
