Bassett Olympians (La Puente, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Baldwin Park Braves (Baldwin Park, CA), 47-35 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Bassett upgrades its record to 3-8 on the campaign. The Olympians travel to San Gabriel (San Gabriel, CA) to play the Matadors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Matadors come into the bout with a record of 3-4. San Gabriel lost 53-50 in their recent non-league bout against Compton (Compton, CA)

Next up, the Braves play the Ontario Jaguars (Ontario, CA) in a Mt. Baldy bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Baldwin Park will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Jaguars come into the bout with a 8-1 record after their 55-49 non-league win over La Sierra (Riverside, CA).
