South Carolina High School Basketball - Christian Academy nudges Cathedral Academy

Christian Academy Saints (Myrtle Beach, SC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Cathedral Academy Generals (North Charleston, SC), 62-61 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Christian Academy upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Saints travel to Charleston Collegiate (John's Island, SC) to clash with the Sundevils in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Sundevils go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Charleston Collegiate lost 77-34 in their recent league bout against Riverpointe Christian Academy (North Charleston, SC)

Next up, the Generals clash with the Clarendon Hall Saints (Summerton, SC) in a SCISA AA Region I bout, on Monday, December 11. Cathedral Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Saints go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 68-44 non-league loss to Faith Christian (Summerville, SC).
