Kansas High School Basketball - Ottawa can't hold off Chanute
December 8, 2023: Ottawa, KS 66067 The Chanute Blue Comets basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Ottawa Cyclones to 43 in the Blue Comets non-league triumph on Friday.
The Blue Comets now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Girard for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Chanute will battle a Trojans team coming off a 53-41 non-league win over Galena (Galena, KS). The Trojans record now stands at 2-1.
The Cyclones (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Atchison (Atchison, KS). The Phoenix enter the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Atchison nudged Eudora (Eudora, KS), 57-46, in a non-league contest.
