Iowa High School Basketball - Columbus knocked off by Dike-New Hartford
December 8, 2023: Waterloo, IA 50702 The Dike-New Hartford Wolverines basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Columbus Sailors to 60 in the Wolverines league triumph on Friday.
The Wolverines now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Aplington-Parkersburg for a North Iowa Cedar - East contest on Tuesday, December 12. Dike-New Hartford will meet a Falcons team coming off a 78-64 league loss to Hudson (Hudson, IA). The Falcons record now stands at 4-1.
The Sailors (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Oelwein (Oelwein, IA). The Huskies enter the North Iowa Cedar - East contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Oelwein was outscored by Union (La Porte City, IA), 67-57, in a league contest.
