The Lions now sport a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ropes for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. New Deal will battle a Eagles team coming off a 63-57 non-league loss to Borden County (Gail, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 11-2.
The Buffaloes (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Abilene Christian (Abilene, TX). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 8-11 record. In their last contest, Abilene Christian was defeated by Cornerstone Christian (San Angelo, TX), 65-52, in a non-league contest.
