Texas High School Basketball - Summer Creek thwarts Cypress Lakes
December 8, 2023: Katy, TX 77449 The Summer Creek Bulldogs (Houston, TX) basketball knocked off the host Cypress Lakes Spartans (Katy, TX), 65-56 in Friday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs (6-5) will now prepare for their test against North Shore (Houston, TX). The Mustangs go into the 6A Region III District 21 test with a 7-8 record. In their last test, North Shore went down by South Houston (South Houston, TX), 65-64, in a non-league test.
The Spartans now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Cypress Park for a non-league test on Saturday, December 9. Cypress Lakes will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 57-44 non-league loss to Klein Cain (Houston, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 6-6.
