California High School Basketball - Poly ripped by Damien
December 8, 2023: Riverside, CA 92506 The Damien Spartans basketball team scored 75 points and held the host Poly Bears to 46 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Friday.
The Spartans now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host San Gabriel Academy for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 13. Damien will battle a Eagles team coming off a 65-51 non-league win over Jordan (Long Beach, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.
The Bears (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Mira Costa (Manhattan Beach, CA). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Mira Costa triumphed over Gardena (Gardena, CA), 44-37, in a non-league contest.
