Texas High School Basketball - Gladewater knocked off by De Kalb
December 8, 2023: De Kalb, TX 75559 The De Kalb Bears basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Gladewater Bears to 48 in the Bears non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bears now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jefferson for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. De Kalb will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 48-43 non-league loss to Sabine (Gladewater, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-2.
The Bears (0-11) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, TX). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, Mount Vernon was defeated by Alvarado (Alvarado, TX), 54-36, in a non-league contest.
