December 8, 2023: Hartford, SD 57033 In Friday's league outing, the Dell Rapids Quarriers (Dell Rapids, SD) basketball squad edged the host West Central Trojans (Hartford, SD), by a count of 61-59.
The Quarriers (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Baltic (Baltic, SD). The Bulldogs go into the A Region 3 outing with a 1-0 record. In their last outing, Baltic held off Beresford (Beresford, SD), 74-38, in a non-league outing.
The Trojans now hold a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Vermillion for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 12. West Central will clash with a Tanagers squad coming off a 76-33 non-league win over South Sioux City (South Sioux City, NE). The Tanagers record now stands at 1-0.
