Illinois High School Basketball - LaSalle-Peru ripped by Fieldcrest
December 8, 2023: LaSalle, IL 61301 The Fieldcrest Knights basketball team scored 74 points and held the host LaSalle-Peru Cavaliers to 47 in the Knights non-league triumph on Friday.
The Knights now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rock Falls for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. Fieldcrest will battle a Rockets team coming off a 64-47 non-league win over Mendota (Mendota, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 6-2.
The Cavaliers (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Kaneland (Maple Park, IL). The Knights enter the Interstate Eight contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Kaneland triumphed over Raby (Chicago, IL), 89-45, in a non-league contest.
