Guyer Wildcats (Denton, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Melissa Cardinals (Melissa, TX), 81-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Guyer upgrades its record to 13-3 on the season. The Wildcats host Reedy (Frisco, TX) to clash with the Lions in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 7-9. Reedy won 62-60 in their recent non-league bout against Tyler Legacy (Tyler, TX)

Next up, the Cardinals clash with the Aubrey Chaparrals (Aubrey, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Melissa will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Chaparrals go into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 77-55 non-league loss to Walnut Grove (Prosper, TX).
