Arkansas High School Basketball - Hackett tops Magazine
December 8, 2023: Hackett, AR 72937 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Hackett Hornets (Hackett, AR) and the visiting Magazine Rattlers (Magazine, AR), saw Hackett's basketball squad knock off Magazine by a tally of 55-42.
With the victory, Hackett improves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Hornets host Danville (Danville, AR) to play the Little Johns in a 3A Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Little Johns come into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Danville won 71-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Deer (Deer, AR)
Next up, the Rattlers play the Hector Wildcats (Hector, AR) in a 2A Region 4 challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Magazine will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 64-42 league win over Western Yell County (Havana, AR).
