South Carolina High School Basketball - John Paul II can't hold off St. Joseph's Catholic
December 8, 2023: Ridgeland, SC 22936 The St. Joseph's Catholic Knights basketball team scored 40 points and held the host John Paul II Golden Warrriors to 36 in the Knights non-league triumph on Friday.
The Knights now sport a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cross Schools for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. St. Joseph's Catholic will battle a Stingrays team coming off a 65-39 league loss to Beaufort Academy (Beaufort, SC). The Stingrays record now stands at 3-4.
The Golden Warrriors (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Bethesda Academy (Savannah, GA). The enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Bethesda Academy nudged First Preparatory Christian Academy (Hinesville, GA), 81-63, in a non-league contest.
