Kansas High School Basketball - Madison knocked off by Marmaton Valley
December 8, 2023: Moran, KS 66755 The Marmaton Valley Wildcats basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Madison Bulldogs to 39 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Humboldt for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Marmaton Valley will battle a Cubs team coming off a 41-31 non-league win over Erie (Erie, KS). The Cubs record now stands at 4-0.
The Bulldogs (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Waverly (Waverly, KS). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Waverly was defeated by Maranatha Christian Academy (Shawnee, KS), 65-50, in a non-league contest.
