Texas High School Basketball - Shelton nips Pantego Christian
December 8, 2023: Arlington, TX 76013 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Shelton Chargers (Dallas, TX) and the host Pantego Christian Panthers (Arlington, TX), saw Shelton's basketball squad hold off Pantego Christian by a tally of 58-53.
With the victory, Shelton improves its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Covenant Christian (Colleyville, TX) to play the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 10-2. Covenant Christian won 77-61 in their recent non-league challenge against Gainesville (Gainesville, TX)
Next up, the Panthers play the Geneva (Boerne, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 9. Pantego Christian will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record. The come into the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 62-58 non-league win over Great Hearts Northern Oaks (San Antonio, TX).
