In Friday's non-league outing, the South Gibson Hornets (Medina, TN) basketball squad edged the host Westview Chargers (Martin, TN), by a margin of 47-41.

The Hornets (5-2) will now prepare for their outing against Peabody (Trenton, TN). The Golden Tide go into the non-league outing with a 6-1 record.
