Michigan High School Basketball - Westfield Prep nips South Lake
December 8, 2023: Redford, MI 48239 Westfield Prep Warriors (Redford, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting South Lake Cavaliers (St. Clair Shores, MI), 51-46 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Westfield Prep upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Warriors host Arbor Prep (Ypsilanti, MI) to play the Gators in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 14. The Gators go into the bout with a record of 3-1.
Next up, the Cavaliers play the Mt. Clemens Battling Bathers (Mt. Clemens, MI) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 13. South Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Battling Bathers go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 67-56 non-league loss to Detroit Public Safety Academy (Detroit, MI).
