Texas High School Basketball - Abilene Christian overwhelmed by Water Valley
December 8, 2023: Abilene, TX 79601 The Water Valley Wildcats basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the host Abilene Christian Panthers to 15 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sterling City for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. Water Valley will battle a Eagles team coming off a 32-18 non-league win over Cornerstone Christian (San Angelo, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 4-9.
The Panthers (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Guthrie (Guthrie, TX). The Jaguars come into the non-league contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Guthrie was routed by Eden (Eden, TX), 35-14, in a non-league contest.
