New York High School Basketball - Ballston Spa tops Saratoga Springs
December 8, 2023: Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Ballston Spa Scotties (Ballston Spa, NY) and the host Saratoga Springs Blue Streaks (Saratoga Springs, NY), saw Ballston Spa's basketball squad knock off Saratoga Springs by a tally of 52-44.
With the victory, Ballston Spa improves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Scotties host Averill Park (Averill Park, NY) to play the Warriors in a Section 2 Suburban challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 4-0. Averill Park won 75-26 in their recent league challenge against Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake (Burnt Hills, NY)
Next up, the Blue Streaks play the St. Joseph Hill Academy Hilltoppers (Staten Island, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Sunday, December 10. Saratoga Springs will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Hilltoppers come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 54-29 non-league win over Kellenberg Memorial (Uniondale, NY).
