The Farmersville Farmers basketball team scored 31 points and held the host Blue Ridge Tigers to 17 in the Farmers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Farmers now sport a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jayton for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. Farmersville will battle a Jaybirds team coming off a 42-16 non-league loss to Van Alstyne (Van Alstyne, TX). The Jaybirds record now stands at 11-4.

The Tigers (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Pottsboro (Pottsboro, TX). The Cardinals enter the 3A Region II District 11 contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Pottsboro was defeated by Nocona (Nocona, TX), 57-24, in a non-league contest.
