Oklahoma High School Basketball - Calumet ripped by Cherokee
December 8, 2023: Cherokee, OK 73728 The Cherokee Chiefs basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Calumet Chieftains to 36 in the Chiefs non-league triumph on Friday.
The Chiefs now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crescent for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. Cherokee will meet a Tigers team coming off a 40-39 league loss to Okeene (Okeene, OK). The Tigers record now stands at 1-1.
The Chieftains (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Thomas-Fay-Custer (Thomas, OK). The Terriers enter the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Thomas-Fay-Custer was routed by Mangum (Mangum, OK), 47-39, in a non-league contest.
