December 8, 2023: Hiawatha, KS 66434 The Centralia Panthers (Centralia, KS) basketball crushed the host Hiawatha Red Hawks (Hiawatha, KS), 55-33 in Friday's non-league test.
The Panthers (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Onaga (Onaga, KS). The Buffaloes go into the Twin Valley test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Onaga was trounced by Oskaloosa (Oskaloosa, KS), 51-37, in a non-league test.
The Red Hawks now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Nemaha Central for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 12. Hiawatha will encounter a Thunder squad coming off a 44-29 non-league win over Holton (Holton, KS). The Thunder record now stands at 2-1.
