Kansas High School Basketball - Ell-Saline fells Solomon
December 8, 2023: Solomon, KS 67480 Ell-Saline Cardinals (Brookville, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Solomon Gorillas (Solomon, KS), 52-35 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Ell-Saline upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Bennington (Bennington, KS) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Bennington lost 48-12 in their recent non-league bout against Minneapolis (Minneapolis, KS)
Next up, the Gorillas play the Centre Cougars (Lost Springs, KS) in a Wheat State bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Solomon will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 39-8 non-league loss to Rural Vista [Hope/White City] (Hope, KS).
