December 8, 2023: Fitchburg, MA 01420 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Fitchburg Red Raiders (Fitchburg, MA) and the visiting North Polar Bears (Worcester, MA), saw Fitchburg's basketball squad wallop North by a count of 62-36.
With the victory, Fitchburg upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Red Raiders host Worcester Tech (Worcester, MA) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 3. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 0-1.
Next up, the Polar Bears play the St. Bernard's Central Catholic Bernardians (Fitchburg, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. North will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
