High School Basketball - Varsity Opponent overwhelmed by Taft

The Varsity Opponent basketball team (, ), was overwhelmed 50-19 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Taft Wildcats (Taft, CA)

The Wildcats now possess a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host North for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 12. Taft will battle a Stars team coming off a 49-35 non-league win over Golden Valley (Bakersfield, CA). The Stars record now stands at 4-2.

The (36-164) will now prepare for their battle against St. Andrew's Episcopal (Potomac, MD). The Lions come into the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, St. Andrew's Episcopal was overwhelmed by Australian Horizons (Horizon, Australian) (, NC), 50-34, in a non-league match.
