Washington High School Basketball - Goldendale overwhelmed by Wapato
December 8, 2023: Wapato, WA 98951 The Wapato Wolves basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the visiting Goldendale Timberwolves to 12 in the Wolves non-league victory on Friday.
The Wolves now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Toppenish for a 1A South Central - West contest on Friday, December 15. Wapato will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 62-58 non-league loss to Grandview (Grandview, WA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-1.
The Timberwolves (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Warden (Warden, WA). The Cougars come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Warden triumphed over Highland (Cowiche, WA), 70-19, in a non-league contest.
