Texas High School Basketball - Yorktown ripped by Gonzales
December 8, 2023: Gonzales, TX 78629 The Gonzales Apaches basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Yorktown Wildcats to 25 in the Apaches non-league triumph on Friday.
The Apaches now sport a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Saint Mary's Hall for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Gonzales will battle a Barons team coming off a 62-34 non-league win over Royal (Brookshire, TX). The Barons record now stands at 9-1.
The Wildcats (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against Calhoun (Port Lavaca, TX). The Sandcrabs enter the non-league contest with a 2-10 record. In their last contest, Calhoun was routed by Shiner (Shiner, TX), 51-32, in a non-league contest.
