December 8, 2023: Harrisburg, NC 28075

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC) and the visiting Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC), saw Hickory Ridge's basketball squad knock off Porter Ridge by a count of 55-47.

With the victory, Hickory Ridge upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Ragin' Bulls travel to Sun Valley (Monroe, NC) to play the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 15. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 4-4.

Next up, the Pirates play the Forest Hills Yellow Jackets (Marshville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Porter Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Yellow Jackets come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 66-47 non-league win over Central (Pageland, SC).
