Texas High School Basketball - Ozona crushes Lamesa
December 8, 2023: Ozona, TX 76943 Ozona Lions (Ozona, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lamesa Tornadoes (Lamesa, TX), 52-29 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Ozona upgrades its record to 13-1 on the season. The Lions travel to Dalhart (Dalhart, TX) to play the Wolves in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Dalhart won 43-22 in their recent non-league bout against Happy (Happy, TX)
Next up, the Tornadoes play the Stanton Buffaloes (Stanton, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 9. Lamesa will attempt to upgrade on its 13-6 season record. The Buffaloes go into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 59-36 non-league win over Lake View (San Angelo, TX).
