Logansport Berries (Logansport, IN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Muncie Central Bearcats (Muncie, IN), 44-28 in a league bout.

With the win, Logansport upgrades its record to 1-8 on the season. The Berries host LaVille (Lakeville, IN) to clash with the Lancers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 3-7. LaVille lost 46-30 in their recent league bout against Winamac (Winamac, IN)

Next up, the Bearcats clash with the Anderson Indians (Anderson, IN) in a North Central bout, on Friday, December 15. Muncie Central will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 34-25 non-league loss to Mt. Vernon (Fortville, IN).
