Texas High School Basketball - Rock Hill knocked off by Lovejoy
December 8, 2023: Frisco, TX 75035 The Lovejoy Leopards basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Rock Hill Blue Hawks to 40 in the Leopards non-league triumph on Friday.
The Leopards now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Melissa for a 5A Region II District 13 contest on Tuesday, December 12. Lovejoy will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 68-28 non-league win over Emerson (McKinney, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 10-7.
The Blue Hawks (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Allen (Allen, TX). The Eagles enter the 6A Region I District 5 contest with a 13-3 record. In their last contest, Allen ran past Royse City (Royse City, TX), 54-47, in a non-league contest.
