Northern Cass Jaguars (Hunter, ND) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Maple River Eagles (Mapleton, MN), 78-51 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Northern Cass upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Lisbon (Lisbon, ND) to play the Broncos in a A Region 1 bout on Monday, December 11. The Broncos come into the bout with a record of 1-2. Lisbon lost 48-41 in their recent league bout against Central Cass (Casselton, ND)

Next up, the Eagles play the Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] Titans (Montgomery, MN) in a AA Section 2 bout, on Saturday, December 9. Maple River will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Titans come into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 53-40 non-league loss to Mayer Lutheran (Mayer, MN).
