December 8, 2023: Keizer, OR 97303 The McNary Celtics (Keizer, OR) basketball knocked off the visiting Thurston Colts (Springfield, OR), 68-51 in Friday's non-league test.
The Celtics (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Bend (Bend, OR). The Lava Bears go into the non-league test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, Bend went down by Sprague (Salem, OR), 58-36, in a non-league test.
The Colts now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Mountain View for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 12. Thurston will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 56-4 non-league win over Sandy (Sandy, OR). The Cougars record now stands at 1-1.
